There are gooseneck couplers available which are capable of extending. For example, the Pro Series Gooseneck Coupler - Adjustable # PS0287790300 can extend to nearly 35 inches.
I have added a link to our page with each of our gooseneck couplers for you to find the one with the correct weight capacity and gooseneck ball size compatibility. Also be sure to measure the amount of height you'll need to get your trailer level so you can find the coupler with the right amount of length. view full answer...
Hi Evon,
Appreciate the photo, thank you, and while there is a lock option, the part number you mentioned won't work on your gooseneck coupler with the handle. There isn't a similar type of lock for the bottom of the coupler, the best have is a lock for the set screw, the Blaylock EZ Lock for Set Screw on Gooseneck Coupler # BLTL-51-40D. view full answer...
To leave your coupler unlatched you will need a manual locking coupler like the Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler # BD0287690300. The B&W Defender Locking Gooseneck Coupler # BWGNC4250 will only lock in the closed position. Using the manual locking coupler will make it easier for you to use with your skid steer to move around your farm. view full answer...
The 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter Mounting Plate # MR37ZR (RPB77-006) used to come to use as bare steel since it is designed to be welded/drilled to a gooseneck adapter. Now it comes powder coated.

We do have a few things that might work out for your uncle.
The first thing is the Wire Stick # C5G-STICK which is used for (and comes with) the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG. This is basically just an extension that can be used to lock and unlock the coupler but you have to have a handle that faces up to use this.
Another option which is to use a Gen-Y coupler in place of the current coupler that he is using. If he only tows one gooseneck trailer then... view full answer...
I have another option for you, but there is not a version of the Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter by Bulldog, Draw-Tite and Reese # 9480 that is offset for a short bed truck, and I do not recommend cutting the legs on the cab side of hitch as they are what keeps the hitch stable, and will void the warranty of the hitch.
Instead I recommend going with the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset for Short-Bed Trucks # AM3139 which will... view full answer...
No, I am sorry we do not. I spoke with B&W and they said you could reach out to them directly and get information on sending the B&W Defender Locking Gooseneck Coupler item # BWGNC4250 to them to be repaired. I recommended going to their website and using the chat service. B&W is great when it comes to repairing or maintenance on their products which is why they don't sell too many replacement parts in stores. It's another way they stand by the quality of their products. view full answer...
Sorry we are not going to have anything close to what you are looking for. The Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler item # BD1289200300 has a handle assembly at the bottom so our item # BLTL-53-40D2 would not fit. Our only solution to locking it would be to use a padlock like item # TMX83FR.
When the BX1 couplers are in the coupled position, you can place a padlock through the hole as shown in the picture below. The coupler could then be secured with or without a trailer connected. view full answer...
You will be able to use a inner tube like the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG that also does not have the holes for the pin. This particular tube has the cushioned coupler to help reduce road shock from the trailer into your F-750. view full answer...
The Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG does only allow for up to 3/4" so while this will help with road shock it does not help as much with the trailer bounce. Depending on your LQ horse trailer you would be able help reduce the bouncing you are getting with some type of Jounce Springs # SS26MV on your trailer or your tow vehicle.
If you can send me some information about your tow vehicle and images of your trailer and the suspension I can help you determine... view full answer...
For gooseneck trailers like yours where the coupler is not a standard that we have a lock for the best option is going to be a wheel lock like the etrailer part # 288-02020, Barb. This will for sure fit as a lock and would be just as effective so it would be the route I would recommend. view full answer...
Hey Kenneth,
The Reese Goosebox 94720 is only designed to fit the 1621, 1716, 0719, and Fabex PB 600 Series bolt patterns so you'd have to switch to the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR in order to fit a Rhino bolt pattern. On this model they also moved the air chuck up to the top for easier access. view full answer...
Thank you for the images Barb, but you are going to have to take a couple measurements to verify what is going to work best for your exact situation. It looks like you have a 2019 Toyota Tundra with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1257 for the 5-1/2' bed. I do see according to the image provided your trailer is 80" wide so to make a full jack knife turn you would need more than 40" from the center of the hitch ball in the bed to the cab. This is not likely... view full answer...
The Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter # KPG5-R30IP you found is our only 4" tube rated for 30K. The plate does not have to sit perfectly square inside the 5th wheel hitch as it will still latch into the coupler. You will want to face the side with the most of the raised lip towards the front so that it can more easily slide on the 5th wheel. Understanding it will not be a perfect 90 degree angle but it will still load into the hitch. view full answer...
Fifth wheel hitches and gooseneck hitches cannot be installed at the same time as they both attach to the truck frame in the same place. If you can get me the pin box model on your trailer I could get you a pin box replacement gooseneck adapter but otherwise you could go with the Convert a Ball part # CAB-C5G which attaches to the pin box of your trailer and then gives you a gooseneck coupler for the ball in your truck bed. view full answer...
The Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 is our most economical adapter which will allow you to connect a 5th wheel pin box to a gooseneck hitch ball. This is rated for trailers up to 24,000lbs with up to a 6,000lb tongue weight. You will also need Safety Chains # AM3109 since this is ball connection. view full answer...
Hey John, you'd have to go with an all new gooseneck hitch since Draw Tite doesn't have an offset ball for that hitch. You'd need the B and W Gooseneck part # BWGNRK1308 for if you have a gas engine or part # BWGNRK1313 if its a diesel.
Then you could use the offset ball part # BWGNXA4085 which would give you 4 inches of offset. view full answer...
We had a customer years ago tell us that their 2007 Keystone Everest had a Fabex 600 series pin box on it which meant the Reese Goose Box part # RP85FR would fit and work great to convert it to a gooseneck but you should check to verify. Worth noting this also fits the Lippert 1621, 1716, 0719, and Rhino so there's a good chance it fits as those are the most common options out there. This replaces the entire pin box with a cushioned gooseneck setup. view full answer...
